Out of the box you can use vWork to send SMS and email alerts to workers, customers, dispatchers, etc. However, what if you need to send an alert to someone specific to the job (like a 3rd party site manager or security guard who needs to enable access for your team)? This is where ad hoc alerts come in.
Ad hoc alerts allow you to add these one off contact details to the specific jobs that require them. You can then use the vWork alerts module to trigger alerts to these ad hoc recipients.
You may add up to three recipients for each job as per the example below:
