vWork supports both Job records and Customer records. When creating a job, you should link it to a customer record. This can be done by the customer name, the customer ID, or a customer 3rd party ID. Examples are as follows:
<customer_id>2883055</customer_id><customer_third_party_id>123456789</customer_third_party_id><customer_name>John Smith</customer_name>We suggest using one of the IDs and not the name to ensure you are linking to the correct customer as there can be multiple customer records with the same name.
